In a town named “Portstadt,” 300km away from the central city Stuttgart in Germany, there used to live a family of 4 including father Abraham (38 years old), mother Zahra (35 years old), son Zain (17 years old) and daughter Ebtehal (12 years old).
Located near the bank of a river, the population of Portstadt was approximately 8000 and just behind the town; there was a dense forest.
Abraham with his family used to live on rent in a flat in Portstadt, and he used to work in a restaurant as a waiter. His daily routine was working 9 hours in the restaurant and then buying the regular grocery and food with the money he used to earn from work and then returning home, spending time with his family which used to make him forgetful of all the tiring work he had been doing all day. His wife Zahra’s daily routine included taking care of the house and her children. Zain was studying in a school for the diploma which was the only way to land a job as a cashier or manager in the same restaurant where his father used to work. Apart from studying he used to do some part-time work mostly in the library of his school and also sometimes when Abraham was not feeling well or had to take a leave from work, Zain used to take his place and work on his behalf as a waiter.
Regardless of their financial situation or living condition, they were happy and well contented because there was a strong bond between family members, they always used to eat dinner together and after that they spend time chatting about how was the day and everyone loved to listen to the blabbering of little Ebtehal and she was the life of the house and Abraham loved her more than anything and would never leave her from his sight when he was at home.Abraham also used to give pieces of advice to Zain about how to take care of the home as he was becoming a man and soon had to replace his father as the man of the house and take care of the whole family. So, Zain always listened carefully to his father’s advice and used to try his best in acting upon them.
There was one special thing in this family, related to the life of the house Ebtehal. When it was time for bed Abraham used to lift Ebtehal in his arms to take her in her room, put her in bed and to sing her favorite song which would make Ebtehal go to sleep, so even if Abraham was not feeling well he still used to try his best to sing the song for his little princess.
